Receptionist / Administrator

Jane joined Jameson + Mackay in October 2024 after working at a local firm for many years dealing with customer care.   Jane is our receptionist and administrator covering a range of duties.

Solicitor

Denny graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 2019 before going on to complete his legal traineeship with a Dundee firm. Denny joined Jameson + Mackay in May 2024 and is a Solicitor in our Conveyancing Department. Outside of the office Denny enjoys spending time with his young family.

 

Legal Secretary

Melanie commenced employment with us in March 2024 as our Legal Secretary.  Melanie worked at another local firm as an Administrator for many years.   She has extensive experience to bring to her role with Jameson + Mackay.

 

Associate

Adam graduated from the University of Dundee in 2010 before going on to complete his legal traineeship with a Dundee firm.   Adam qualified into Convenancying and primarily has dealt with that area throughout his career, however he has also been responsible for Exectury work.    Adam joined Jameson + Mackay in July 2024 as an Associate in our Conveyancing Department. Adam is also a Notary Public.

 

Property Assistant

Rebecca joined our Estate Agency department in September 2023 having previously worked for other Estate Agency firms in the area.   Rebecca has extensive experience in the property markets in both Scotland and Australia, spanning over 20 years.

Outside of work Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the area.

 

Associate

Debbie graduated from the University of Dundee in 2013 before going on to complete her legal traineeship with another local firm. Debbie joined Jameson and Mackay in 2016 and is now an Associate in our Private Client Department dealing primarily with Wills and Powers of Attorney. She is also a Notary Public. Outside of the office Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband and young family.

Legal Assistant

Macy joined our Property Department in April 2023 after working as a legal secretary at another local law firm.  As a dedicated Legal Assistant, she assists in private client matters, court proceedings, and executries, while continuing to support our Estate Agency team.  She is currently expanding her legal expertise through a paralegal course and has already completed an HNC in Criminology.

Outside of work, Macy enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, staying active at the gym, going on walks, and discovering new places to eat.

 

 

Executry Paralegal

Susan graduated with LLB and a Diploma in Business and Secretarial Studies from Strathclyde University in 1980.

She has worked in legal firms in Inverness, West Highlands and Dumfries & Galloway before emigrating to New Zealand in 2001 where she spent 16 years working in several large firms in Christchurch.
The two large earthquakes that struck Christchurch in 2010/11 had a significant impact on work and life in the city so she returned to Scotland in 2017.
Susan returned to work with a firm in Oban and then moved to the east of Scotland in 2022 to be nearer her daughter.

At home Susan likes to potter in the garden; read a lot and is a keen embroiderer and a servant to two cats – one of whom is from New Zealand.

Private Client Solicitor

Kathleen graduated from the University of Dundee in 2017 with an LLB (Hons) in Scots Law and then went on to complete an LLM in Environmental Law in 2018 and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2019.  After her studies, she worked in the higher education sector where she gained experience in drafting and negotiating legal contracts.  She then completed a legal traineeship in Perth and Dundee before joining the firm as a solicitor in the Private Client department in 2023.

Outside of work, Kathleen is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her friends and family and walking her black Labrador, Otis.
